Using the Torxim Pack Value Site
The game's percentage labels use a baseline that shifts with a pack's release date, so old packs read low and new ones read high. Check the real value for your own FC tier, and keep value and usefulness apart when deciding.
Bottom line — the game's percentage labels use a baseline that depends on when the pack was released, so you cannot take them at face value. Check the real value for your own progression tier (FC) on torxim.com, and buy by keeping value (%) and usefulness (do I need this?) apart.
⚠️ The percentage trap old packs are stingy, new ones generous
That said, a 3,000% pack reads differently once event context like Journey of Light or Treasure Hunter stacks extra rewards on top. And a high percentage is still a no-buy if the contents are useless to you (generic Mythic shards, say) → the number alone cannot decide it.
⭐ A quick benchmark with no site needed (Ton's method)
① Note how many Fire Crystals you get per $1 at your generation and compare every pack against it — anchor on the Mia's Fortune $5 pack and the weekly card, which were priced sensibly to begin with.
② Charms: 90 or more Charm Guides and Designs combined in a $5 pack is good.
Those two lines in your phone's notes app are enough. For anything more precise, use the site below.
🛠️ How to use torxim.com configure it first!
Progression tier: defaults to FC10, the author's own. Pick from FC10 / FC8 / FC5-WarAcademy / FC5 / FC3 → values and pack composition recalculate per tier (choose FC5 and the unit price of Charms rises, for example). Earlier tiers are being added.
Weekly-usage presets 26 / 36 / 46 / 66 (26 = 20 on Monday plus one a week). Pick the closest; Ton runs 66. Resource (RSS) value is priced off the City Lifeline pack — the default is fine.
An item's reference price is "the cheapest source you can reach regularly", excluding one-off events. The item value table lets you price packs the site does not list yet.
In a pack's detail view, click a line you do not need to exclude it → the value recalculates. Drop Charm Manuals from the Charm Artisan pack and the value collapses to 25% — you can see instantly where the value actually lives.
🗂️ Category highlights
| Category | What to check |
|---|---|
| Trigger packs (appear on an action, e.g. hero advancement) | Legendary Treasure advancement pack: the percentage is fine but the contents are mostly generic Mythic shards → not worth buying. The textbook case of "read the contents, not the percentage" |
| Top-up packs (cumulative gem purchases) | Myriad Bazaar: 125–200%, strong value across the $1–$100 band. The two extra $100 ones (island decorations) are low value and unlisted; the Chief Gear and Charm versions are not listed yet either |
| Weekly cards | The Fire Crystal Shard weekly card is far and away the best. Check the pet cards too. Broadly matches what you feel in game |
| Regular shop | Charm Artisan value pack: Guides plus Charm Manuals (1 Manual = 40 Guides or 40 Designs) comes to about 94 → clears the 90+ benchmark |
| Chest selection | Custom War chests: the top pick on paper is Mythic general (Aeros) shards, but in practice take Essence Stones and Charm Guides/Designs. Speedups also price surprisingly well |
| Recurring deals | Shining City: worst value once you take the skin out. Mia's Fortune: averaged on the full-board strategy (assuming ~1,200 vouchers) |
| Event currency shops | The Labyrinth, Wild Brawl, Frostdragon Tyrant, Foundry Battle, King of Icefield and the rest — answers most of "what do I buy in this shop?". The surprise find: Foundry XP components price very high(the blueprints everyone buys are mediocre on paper) |
| Arena shop | Custom Mythic hero gear chests ≫ Mithril. Unless you rank top 10–20 weekly, take the Mythic chests — Mythic shards are always the thing you run short of |
| Alliance Championship | Books of Knowledge outscore Sigils on paper, but for most people the standard Expert Sigils are the answer (usefulness). Skip Advanced Wild Marks |
| Special events | Journey of Light and Treasure Hunter (the table updates live as you pick rewards), plus season events such as Wander Theater, being added in turn |
🔀 Comparing across shop currencies
High value ≠ buy it. Usefulness — does my account need this — comes first. But when the same item sells in several shops, open the tabs side by side and find the cheaper one.
Example: you need XP components → buy XP from the Foundry, and spend the other shop's currency on that shop's high-value items (alloy, blueprints and so on)
For items where usefulness beats value, like Sigils, just buy them. The numbers are a comparison tool, nothing more.
💳 Ton's spending philosophy value ≠ usefulness
| Spending level | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Light | Mia's at $5–10, and small packs that clear the benchmark |
| Up to ~$1,000/month | Most of it into special and season events: Journey of Light, Treasure Hunter, Lost Loot — the pack value there is overwhelming. Plus $100–200 a month on the biweekly Expert packs and Wayfarer-class offers (around 10,000%), with the remainder on Mia's and the better recurring events |
| Whale ($1,000+/month) | Value alone will not absorb the budget → extend into baseline packs like Artisan Trove, the regular shop and Hall of Heroes (maxing Artisan Trove while working on Charms, for instance) |
🧭 Three steps before buying
① Check the real value at your tier (FC) on the site → ② toggle it apart to confirm the contents are things you need → ③ if the same item is elsewhere, buy from the cheapest source
A high percentage is not an automatic buy. Old packs label low and new ones label high, and even an honest percentage is worth nothing if the contents are useless to you.
