Legend of the Field (Football Season Event)
Three parts feed each other: the Field Depot produces footballs, the Penalty Shootout spends them, and Football King competes on overlaps. Bank Doom Keepers for a high Treasure Point pool, and train troops on the day that scores best for your tier.
The shape of it
Three parts feed each other. Getting in: new servers (origin 1–2), and if the mail is there by about 7:30 UTC, the event starts the next day.

⚽ Penalty Shootout Cone Keeper → Doom Keeper → Treasure Points
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Cone Keeper | 20 shots per play = 10% → clears at 200 shots. Auto kick works and is faster than manual |
| Doom Keeper | On a clear, appears with 20% probability. Each appearance gives 3–15 attacks (above 10 is a 10% chance) |
| Treasure Points | A chance at them from 10 or more attacks. Base probability 0.06% — very low — and it rises with the pool |
🎯 The key — bank the Doom Keeper for a high Treasure Point pool
Play the Cone Keeper whenever. Save Doom Keepers and auto them when the Treasure Point pool is high. Aim for 15,000–16,000+ (12,000+ if you are pressed). The pool starts at 5k, and hitting it at 6–10k is poor odds. If someone else takes it, stop and wait for the pool to rebuild.
Manual and auto have identical odds, so auto costs you nothing. The only real loss is playing at a low pool. ※ Ton has landed it twice in three years — it is genuinely rare.
Daily mission: 2 points per kick, 150 kicks (= 3,000 shots) → the 300-point reward (Fire Crystals, hero shards, Essence). Final day 8: only packs add more — spenders lock in ranking with 3–5 of the $100 pack (up to ~20,000 shots).
🎽 City skin: top 10 takes the permanent skin (~125,000 points is next-day safe, 150k guarantees it). F2P needs months of banked gems and speedups.
🔋 Field Depot producing footballs
Gathering (easy for F2P) plus nearby beasts (easy with auto hunt). Day 2 target is 5,000–5,500 (the rest from Intel; F2P caps around 7k). Resources convert to footballs without limit — roughly 2,000 gems or speedups per energy bar (figure still to be confirmed) → if you are sitting on gems and speedups, footballs explode.
💊 Burning healing speedups at zero resource cost
- Foundry heals consume no resources → zero out, then heal.
- Infirmary heal loop: attack a friend's march with no heroes to fill the Infirmary → start the heal, then cancel (resources refund, troops stay unhealed) → heal the same troops again and again. When you stop, complete it once, leaving an hour of margin so nothing is wasted.
Every speedup counts — healing, training, research, construction, Experts and the rest.
📅 Football King — overlaps by day Day 1 is Friday
This event has no Experts, pets, Charms or Mithril — Chief Gear only. Not worth chasing the ranking unless you want the skin or the name card.
| Day | Overlap | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 1 (Fri) | Football King + Alliance Mobilization + Foundry | Unlock with keys and training. Start buildings and research (save Fire Crystals). Skip Mithril. If T11 has under 6 days left, finishing it is worth 8 million points |
| 2 | Polar Terror · beasts | If you want the ranking, do beasts here (target 5,500). F2P: beasts + Intel + 30–40 stamina |
| 3 | Thin | Save your keys for today — everyone else burned theirs on day 1 → less competition, better ranking |
| 4 | Troop training | Train (see the timing table below). Few overlaps |
| 5 | Essence · widgets · gems | Gems and the Lucky Wheel. Do not do beasts here — day 2 is the place |
| 6 (Wed) | = SVS prep D3, beasts | Beast overlap → earns footballs (no Football King points; this is for the skin) |
| 7 | Troop training | Close out with training. Chief Gear is rough for F2P |
🪖 Troop training timing Football King points · a shield-gaming finding
| Troop grade | Best day to train | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| FC1–8 | Day 4 | Points are fixed per tier, so it always wins |
| FC9 | Day 1/6 (~1–2%) | Barely a difference → day 4 is fine too. T12 training needs FC10 |
| FC10 (T11 · T12) | Day 1/6 (5–8%) | Clearly better. Days 1 and 6 score off power, day 4 is fixed per tier → FC10's high power wins out |
※ Training always scores better than spending speedups. Where the gap is 1–3 points, ignore it and train whenever suits you. If you are chasing the name card ranking, training is worth more on the last day of SVS prep (Thursday).
Some probabilities and figures come from Kingshot and are still to be confirmed in Whiteout. The training timing is a shield-gaming community finding.
