Wander Theater Guide
After the first click, 70% of outcomes go down - so F2P players should claim on the first rise, around floor 3, not climb. The shop's headline discounts on Sigils are a baseline illusion; what you should actually buy is Charms.
! The big change on day 2 versus part 1
🔥 F2P and coin players: do not climb — claim on the first rise
Normally that means claiming on floor 3 (floor 2 if you want to be extremely safe). Part 1's "push to floor 4" was revised down after the simulation. Climbing high is only for the Sigil-maximising (whale) strategy, using protected explorations.
Choose the reward by comparing floor against floor. Most items match or beat coins, with one exception — the individual Chief Gear Material Chest, where coins are better on floors 4 and 5.
Shop: the custom Mythic Hero Gear Chest at 183% is exceptional · Expert Sigils and Books are a discount-rate illusion (see part 3 below).
📌 Part 3 (the wrap-up) — verdict and context
The verdict: against the comparable previous event, floor coins are ×5 and shop prices ×10 → the value an F2P player feels is roughly halved. In exchange it is far less swingy — safe and steady (claim on floors 2–3). The value is concentrated mainly on the very biggest spenders (krakens).
⚠️ "Value ≠ buy": sort the shop by discount rate and Sigils, Books and Affinity float to the top — but that is an illusion created by a bad comparison baseline (the Expert baseline pack). The genuinely best value is in the Light of Wisdom (Expert popup) pack. Maximising Sigils is only for the very largest spenders chasing max-level Experts.
What you should actually buy is Charms. This event's Charm discount is close to the best ever seen (≈130%) → one of the cheapest events there is for buying Charms. + Watch your clicks — a misclick on the right wastes a protected exploration.
Claim the moment you first go up (≈floor 3)
5 talismans → one forced protected run → normal explorations → claim what you want the instant you rise. Floor 2 if you are ultra-safe. 24 runs across the six days. Do not climb.
Maximise coins, or maximise Expert Sigils
If there is a lot you want from the shop, take coins. If you are after Expert materials, go Sigil-maximising — push up to the Common Expert Sigils on the high floors with protected explorations (judged by the 2× rule).
1 Event overview currency · floor structure
❄ Currency and how many runs
- The currency is the Ice Talisman. One exploration costs 5 talismans.
- F2P: 120 from daily missions → 24 runs (about 4 a day).
- Spending: 240 from daily missions, the rest from packs.
❄ Floors, and unlocking floor 8
- Wonderland has 7 floors. Each floor offers 2 items or coins — pick one.
- Floor 8 = the Astral Wonderland. It needs 5 Wonder Stars (1–5 per trip to floor 7, usually 1) → so several trips to floor 7.
- Generation differences: shop prices are identical, but floor rewards are slightly smaller on earlier generations.
💡 Sample floor rewards (Ton): floor 7 ≈ 6,000 coins · 336 Essence Stones · 800 Charm → floor 8 ≈ 12,000 coins (about double).
2 The truth about the odds why you claim low
① The first click (floor 0 · protection forced)
The first exploration always goes up — usually by 1.
② Every exploration after that (normal and protected alike)
70% down against 30% up.
❄ After that first click, 70% of outcomes go down. Floor 3 and floor 2 are nearly identical (floor 2 is also ~80% to rise). Floor 3 edges it only because of the +2 and +3 outcomes, which are under 1% combined. Floor 3 on average, floor 2 to play it safe. Climbing higher only adds downside risk.
3 Normal vs protected explorations
| Type | Going down (−) | Going up (+) | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal exploration default · free |
You drop out → you take the lower floor's reward and the run ends | You rise as normal and carry on | Free |
| Protected exploration an extra life |
You do not drop out → it rerolls | You rise as normal | Paid, per floor |
⚠ The first exploration of every run is protected (forced) — always +1 to +3. Everything after is normal. Protection costs per click → it is very expensive.
Measured: floor 4 → 5 cost 120 (about 24 runs' worth). Do not use it on the coin or F2P strategies — only when maximising Sigils.
4 Four strategies simulation-settled · 98–99% optimal
① Maximise coins spenders with a long shop list
- Protected (forced) → normal → claim coins the first time you rise → repeat
- Target floor 3 (2 to be ultra-safe). For anyone who needs a lot of coins
② F2P and light spenders mix and match
- Same as ①, but on the rise take coins or whichever item you want
- Safe and steady. Push further if you enjoy the gamble
③ Maximise Expert Sigils the very biggest spenders only
- Only krakens chasing max-level Experts. Not for F2P, mid spenders or dolphins
- Chase Common Expert Sigils only · use the "2× rule" below · push to the high floors with protection
④ Casual just playing
- Take floors 2–4 as your luck falls → pick coins or a reward
- Judge with the "floor against floor" comparison below
③ Maximising Expert Sigils — the "2× rule"
A strategy that chases nothing but the Common Expert Sigils that appear on the board.
- Sigils on the top floors (7 or 8) → push up to that floor with protected explorations and take them.
- Sigils on a middle floor → by default, collect right there. The exception: if a higher floor holds more than double the Sigils, do not collect — keep climbing with protection.
- No Sigils up top but some on a low floor → take them with a normal exploration and end the run.
Example: 15 where you are, 32 on the next floor (more than double) → keep climbing. 24 on the next floor (less than double) → just collect.
5 Choosing rewards — compare "floor against floor" TalkStream's calculations
The principle: if you were going to buy that reward from the shop with coins anyway → take the item. If you were not → take the coins and buy what you actually want.
Floor 3, for example: 2,500 coins vs 2,600 Polishing Solution (+100 in your favour) vs Charm Guide/Design at 2,500 (identical to coins).
⚠️ The one exception is the individual Chief Gear Material Chest — slightly worse than coins on floors 4 and 5. On those floors take the Chief Charm Material Chest, Expert Sigils or coins instead.

| Custom Mythic Hero Gear Chest ⭐ exceptional |
183% | A figure this high is rare |

| Expert Sigils · Books · Affinity △ illusion warning |
Sigil · Book · Affinity | The discount looks high but it is a baseline illusion. For the very biggest spenders only. Snow's simulation: Books are passable, Sigils and Affinity are not. F2P players can pick up a few to fill gaps |

🔖 Charm terminology: "Charm" here means the Chief Charm — the 18 class-boosting charms (Lethality and Health) slotted into the six Chief Gear pieces. Designs and Guides are the base materials, Secrets the Lv.12+ material, and the chests are bundles of those. The General Shard is a hero shard, not a Charm.
🧾 Practical tips from part 3
Board vs shop (materials): Charm Designs and Guides cost the same on the board as in the shop. But you will not have enough coins to empty the shop (stock is limited) → so you have to pick some up on the board too to get everything. Take things like Polishing Solution, which is worth more on the board than the coins are, from the board.
Ton's plan: run the floor-3 coin strategy, sweep up Charms and Secrets, and cover his shortfall in Polishing Solution and Design Plans (for the Amber conversion). He is not buying Fire Crystals here. He already has enough Sigils → Affinity and Books come from the Light of Wisdom popup pack instead.
💡 Tracking value: record the discount rate (%) of everything you buy, by generation — Guides 150%, Designs 55%, Secrets 180%, say — and you can compare directly against the next season at the same generation.
7 Spending — packs and milestones
💳 Packs — talismans per dollar (smaller is more efficient)
| $5 | 80 talismans | 16/$ (the best) |
| $10 | ~140 | 14/$ |
| Above that | Steadily worse | |
🏁 Milestones
- Full unlock (max): up to $50 on five days plus up to $20 on about $460 (≈16,800 talismans in total).
- F2P: the 100 milestone only. The next tier at 500 would take 4–5 events of saving → not worth forcing.
📊 Simulation (WOS nerds): reaching floor 7 costs ≈56.3 talismans on average (median ~50, maximum ~75). There are 32 optimal scenarios for pure Sigil farming → the rules above cover 98–99% of them. To be updated as data accumulates.
8 When should you play? no need to rush
❄ There is no hurry. Any time across the six days — you can do it all on the last day. Playing 5-talisman floor-3 runs takes about an hour a day, so if you are short on time you can also bundle it up by pushing to floor 7.
🧠 This event satisfies people who understand it and annoys people who do not. The bad press on Reddit and Facebook is mostly from people who have not learned how to play it — a little study makes a large difference. (Talismans can carry over to the next event, though it is unclear when it will return.)
